This is a pre-owned wool jacket/blazer made under the “Lauren Ralph Lauren” green label - the green label was actually manufactured under license by the Jones Apparel Group, this particular piece having been made in Taiwan.  I would date the jacket to between 2000 and 2006, not quite vintage, but close.  It is made of a very good quality plaid wool tweed fabric and is a “hunting” style, definitely using the English countryside as inspiration.  It has padded shoulders, notched lapels, a suede cover to the right shoulder front (where on would rest one’s rifle), flapped side patch pockets, a four button closure, four button cuffs, and cut to accent the waistline.  It is fully lined in brown acetate fabric. The buttons are all stamped with Ralph Lauren (see close-up photo). 

Sizing: Size 4 is indicated, but please note the following measurements for fit, taking the cut of the jacket and thickness of the fabric into account:

Shoulders:  16 1/2” from shoulder seam to shoulder seam

Sleeves: 23” from the shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam:  16”

Chest: 36” around, taken under the arms (18” pit to pit)

Waist:  32”

Length:  28”

Condition:  Pre-owned, this jacket is in very good condition with no wear, tear or staining - it looks to have seen very little use and was well cared for.

This is a very stylish jacket - great for a walk in the country!
